Gorgeous tea rooms. Quaint and quirky. Melt in the mouth scones.
Tucked away in Queens Head Court yard just off the market square. If you are facing the buttermarket town hall go to the right and go past the queen's head pub, and turn left. It's a lovely old beamed building. Tea and scones are excellent. Lunches too. Quaint flowered China and embroidered cloths. Good place for a quiet and relaxing chat with friends.
A real hidden treasure.... had smoked salmon muffin with scrambled eggs.... absolutely delicious.... the staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble.... highly recommended... x
