Superstar are selling Tesla Evo freehubs and pawls as a spares for the old Tesla Evo hub. Warning, the design has been designed incorrectly and the hubs will fail, so do not purchase the parts. Their suppliers in Taiwan sent me the following....To potential customers, do not purchase these parts as the design of the hub, freehub and pawls is faulty. It is a known issue and will mean your hub will fail. Superstars suppliers in Taiwan have sent me the following:- The problem is the wrong design of 36T ratchet rings and the wrong angle of pawls system.Its unhelpful of replacing the new freehub body or CR-MO freehub body on Tesla EVO. It will failure again...This means the parts have a design problem and it is a known issue but Superstar are still selling the parts!! Very worrying, since the freehubs break inside the hub and cause it to lock together and the back wheel will lock solid when you are riding.Superstar know it is a known issue, hence why they have stopped selling the hibs. I am now going to small claims court to gain my monies back from this unscrupulous company!
Bought nano x pedals. Left pedal failed after a year . Very light use(road and cycle paths only), never crashed or dropped, or washed with a jet washer etc. Sent back but informed not covered under warranty as water ingress due to high pressure water -absolute rubbish. Should have spent my money on a better manufacturer who actually makes fit for purpose pedals and honour the warranty they offer rather then using it as a sales gimmick.
When I had my bike, I used these guys alot, excellent colour coded products. Fantastic quality, never had a problem dealing with them. Looking at getting a new bike soon and will deffo be back
I have their wheels on my carbon Supersix and I ran a SS front wheel on my main mountain bike three years ago. I bought it whilst waiting for spares for my Hope wheel. I love Hope wheels. I fitted the SS wheel then forgot it was there. It's still there. Plugging along. From pads to discs to chainrings, why go anywhere else? Support UK manufacturers. Keen prices too.
