One of the last few original stores that is left on Newark Ave. A little expensive, but convenient to quickly get a tool or make another copy of a key. God bless this store! Let them stay in business for a bit longer!
This is my second time here in two weeks and both times the men working here have been SO helpful and kind. Ive asked a super wide range of questions.. and asked a lot of them, and each person has been patient and through. I just came here to get light bulbs and originally looked at the Duane Reade down the street and saw the exact same box of four lightbulbs for $4 cheaper at the hardware store! Ill definitely come back here in the future
I stopped in here yesterday to grab some washers for a TV mount I was installing in my apartment. Located on the Newark Ave pedestrian plaza, you can't really beat the convenience of this location in downtown. It's not the biggest store, but they've got pretty much everything you could need packed in. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly and helpful.I got exactly what I needed, found it quickly, and paid a good price. Every time that I come here looking for something, they've got it. Five stars for sure.
I own a small apartment building in Downtown JC. Occasionally I need to do repairs/fixes in the building. I am very happy this place exists! It saves me driving and time other than if I had to trek to Home Depot or Lowes. Today I had to replace a kitchen sink drain and plumbing. Staff was very helpful, prices are very reasonable, and inventory is surprisingly vast. When all was done, I went on line to Home Depot and compared everything I bought and it was all within 25-cents of the Home Depot prices or cheaper! This hardware store reminds me of the small town hardware stores of the past.
A solid hardware store right next to Grove Street. Very convenient to stop by on the way home if I need to pick anything up. Helpful staff.
