Good doctors phone system is pathetic Cant get thru on phone to let them know I wanted to cancel it took 20 mins on hold then they cut me off! Had to try to call them again after further 20mins of waiting to be answered i gave up. Then i got a text daying i should let them know if i wished to cancel , as said above Doctors are superb but getting to see one is very frustrating due to the out of date phone system .
Used to be good but has gone downhill over the last year.The receptionis have all been on the special NHS receptionist course where they think they are all superior and are the gatekeepers of the practice.I had a blood test that shows dangerous low levels of folate (2nd time in a year due my medication) I spotted it online as I can see my test results.Next lot of GP"S appointments not available for a week, offered a phone appointment for "Thursday". No time just a day. In the past phone appointments have been hit or miss and not even happened.I see my Rheumatologist in 2 weeks and it needs to be dealt with before I see them, no joy from receptionist and lack of empathy.So I said I am unable to take their phone appointment as I am not in all day.I then go online and find that they booked a phone appointment without my consent but it was for a WEEK Thursday and at the same time I am in surgery for my next blood test.Absolutely no clue and lack of common sense.So I shall be bending my consultants ear about this and a complaint to NHS England.
I have been a patient here for 15 years. I am so grateful to all the staff. They do a fantastic job in trying times. I would trust no-one else with my familys health. Thank you to all the staff.
