A wonderful local independent bookstore. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of in store events and excellent selection. Anything can be ordered if they dont have it on hand.
Great bookstore with a small town vibe. Full of staff recommendations and nice selections of some of my favorite sections. They even have Gluten Free options at their coffee and snack bar, which I appreciate even more! We like this place so much we make a point to visit it every time we're back in Jersey City and have a loyalty card.
Since college I found solace in libraries and bookstores. Decades later, I still find great comfort of browsing the stacks, looking for the next fun read, or gift. Bookstores are where I found most of my partners before the internet ruined everything. Anyway, Word has brought this atmosphere back to Jersey City. Such a great asset to the neighborhood. Even found a great gift for everyone on the Christmas list in no time.
This bookstore is a truly great spot to stop by and browse. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, the staff is helpful, and there is even a nice seating section and mini cafe. Could not recommend more.
This is more than just a bookstore, this is an active part of the community. Great to take kids there to browse, especially on a rainy day. Very very family friendly; nice spacious restrooms, a cafe, seating, extensive kids section, stroller parking. Always a great place to pick up a gift. Also great for adults, I have bought many books there for myself and the friendly staff is always happy to recommend something interesting.
